Lightweight Polyester Crowd Flags

As standard, our crowd banners are printed onto 115gsm knitted polyester fabric. This specialist material is:

The fabric dries quickly after rain and is weather-resistant, making it ideal for unpredictable UK conditions.

Despite their size, large crowd flags remain surprisingly manageable. For example, a 10m x 10m banner weighs approximately 12kg and packs down compactly for storage and transport.

Air Mesh Crowd Banner Printing

For venues exposed to wind or open-air stadium environments, we also offer 115gsm polyester air mesh.

Air mesh contains small perforations that allow wind to pass through the material, reducing drag and helping prevent the banner from catching strong gusts. This makes it particularly suitable for elevated seating displays and large-scale outdoor installations.

Both standard polyester and air mesh options deliver vibrant colour reproduction and professional results.

High-Definition Dye Sublimation Printing

All crowd banners are printed in full colour using advanced dye sublimation technology. This specialist fabric printing process ensures:

For seating installations, reinforced hems combined with eyelets provide additional strength around the edges. Reinforcement tape is stitched into the hem to improve durability and extend lifespan, particularly on larger banners.

Stadium Seating Banners

Stadium seating banners are a highly effective way to brand unused seating areas and maximise advertising space within arenas and sports venues.

Manufactured using the same high-quality polyester materials, seating banners can be produced with additional bleed (typically 300–500mm) to allow the fabric to wrap over chair rows securely. This ensures a smooth, professional finish across the display area.

Flame-Retardant & Safety Certified

How big can you make crowd flags and banners?

To any size. Our machines print at up to 3.2 metres wide. Larger flags and banners are seamed together in panels.

Do artworks automatically go to print or are they checked?

Yes we check all artworks upon receipt of your order.

What material is this product printed on?

We use 115gsm polyester as this is a very light fabric that can be easily stored or carried.

Can these be made so they can be carried on a march using poles?

Yes we can finish them with pole pockets on the sides. The pockets will be stitched closed at the top to prevent the banner sliding down the poles. Things to consider when having this kind of banner made is overall size and weight. If it is too big is can act like a big sail in the wind which will make it harder for people to carry.

Can it be printed double sided?

No this is a single sided product only. You will get a reverse show through on the back.If you want a double sided product check out our double sided fabric but bare in mind that this will be a lot heavier.

Do the large crowd banners have carry handles?

Yes we can put carry handles around the edges of the banner / flag so many people can carry at once. The handles are normally place ever 1m around the edges. Please select the carry handles option in the finishing instruction.

Can we peg a large banner into soft ground or grass?

Yes we recommend using tent pegs through eyelets to peg the banner into the ground.

This material type has been tested for flame retardancy to UK and EU regulation standards.

We are unable to produce individual test certificates for each bespoke item.
