Trout Lake Township is a township in Chippewa County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 465 at the 2000 census.  Located on Trout Lake, the area is great for fishing, hunting, swimming, sailing, canoeing, power boating, waterskiing, and surrounded by many other lakes, streams and rivers.
